My main point was it is silly to just say they are not reliable without knowing the first thing about them. I considered buying one (800 MHz, highest at the time) for CAD/CAM applications but I decided not to, I went for a 650 MHz Athlon instead. I decided not to buy one because the bootup and shot down took too long, and it was a bit noisy. It takes long time to boot and shot down, so it can deal with the thermal shock and the condensation issue.
