Missed according to whom? That's the point. Intel forecast a range and their earnings were within their range. That's not a miss in my book. That's a hit.

Hi Mani-
Intel cannot control (anymore than can AMD) what whisper number mongerers and analysts think they SHOULD make. They can only give good guidance. Intel's guidance the last two quarters has been right on. Those who choose to disregard the guidance and set their own numbers should not cry "miss" when Intel hits their own guidance and misses the opinion numbers.
