Sounds like your system battery is getting low. No joke! Look on your motherboard for what looks like a watch battery. It likely needs replacing. If it starts to lose time fast (like a day a week or so), then it's definitely the battery. Don't pull the battery until you have a new one ready to go. Prolonged removal and you'll lose your BIOS settings as well which can be a pain for a non-techie.

Wow, 10 min. is a lot. I wonder if you have a weak battery? I'd go to their website & check to see if others with your particular system have encountered the same problem.

If it's a weak or defective battery, you'll want to get that resolved before it quits... dealing with CMOS & Setup unexpectedly is a real bummer. Did that this summer with my old computer that I gave my Dad.
