Yep,, bought at the wrong time. Instead of buying more of a company that had a CEO and CFO that outright lied I feel better with others. The money I could have put in here has done very well in other places,,,Yes,, CPQ IS fixing their mistakes and will be for some time yet... but I would always be waiting on the next lie ,,,,,,,,,,

I would like to remind Jack that when CPQ was at 18 and change and the Jan 20 calls were around 1/2, anyone who believed CPQ would simply stay in business could have made a killing and pretty much recovered any losses with a small, low risk additional investment. Those options are easily my best performing investment in 1999 (even including the Nov calls!!). There is nothing else around which would have yielded that kind of gain in 90 days, including the internet and wireless high flyers... I guess opportunity is all in the eye of the beholder.
