Thread, fud over Q is going to increase. It has been very heavy since the $1K price point statement, and IMO this is due to the Q Kingdom advancing on the turf of NOK, MOT, Samsung et al. They are worried that Q with such a high valuation will begin to leverage that value into more R&D, acquisitions, etc. They must stop the advance ASAP, by whatever means. This IDC thing, the bad press on Q, all of this just blazed into existence so much heavier recently.
I have asked a Q employee to examine some fud I sent him, and if it is possible and not contrary to the rules he works under, to address some of the issues. He will hopefully reply soon, he is not an investor, just collects his options and does his work. He was a bit put off by the statements of the press, re Q uncooperativeness with interviews etc. He feels they are very open. Anyway, hang tough as long as you can, the big guys are shaking the fruit off the trees again....last year we had the Brazilian monetary crisis, the Pacific Rim recession, and whatever else to "blame" by the press for these same shenanigans. We all can see the Y2K thing is not to blame, no scapegoat, so why all the red ink? Come on, am I stupid, do I not see clearly? Get a good stock, hang on till the story changes.
