Hi Suresh, It looks like we are watching the same basket of stocks base. I could not find any news on DITC. I think it is just a sympathy play due to the Soundview upgrade. *********** ********* SoundView upgraded fiber optic components companies SDL Inc. (SDLI 195 1/16 -20 1/4), JDS Uniphase Corp. (JDSU 171 1/8 -16 7/8) and E-TEK Dynamics (ETEK 123 -10) from "buy" to "strong buy", as photonics industry business continues to expand... Analyst increased his FY00 earnings estimate for JDSU from $0.65 to $0.68; FY 01 estimate remains unchanged at $0.98. ******** ********** SPLI got upgraded today too. FBCE also giving a strong showing. The 2'nd and 3'rd tier stocks seems to be gaining strength. I think the expectation is that the major players will have to buy capacity. RFMD held up pretty well too. It looks to be starting it earnings run.
