I will use the G* handset to confirm I am not an idiot for owning a lot of shares of Globalstar (I hope). If I have endless problems (like Iridium customers apparently did ...), or customer service is useless ... or the handset falls apart ... or whatever -- then, I will seriously re-consider my G* stock position. Not sure how much the phone will be used. Probaly a lot for a while, since I guess I will offer anyone on this thread the opportunity to send me a private message with their phone number, and I will call them (for about 45 or 50 seconds) on my G* phone (in satellite mode) so you and I can hear how it sounds. Warning -- if I get a "zillion" private messages quickly now, I will probably be slow to get back to you (all), or never get back to you ever -- if you appear to be a known "enemy of Globalstar." Jon. (P.S. - I still do not know how to use the phone, so I need at least a while to read the manual !)
