Jon, Airtouch confirmed that my phone was shipped today via FedEx so I may have it tomarrow. I have talked with the Airtouch rep about 4 times in the last week and I always ask if they are selling phones. It has kinda become a joke between us but he always says "oh yes!" Ok, I am sure he is supposed to say that and maybe he is lying but I don't think so. I have had two sets of teenagers and I have become pretty good at spotting lies. I really don't think he is lying. I think they are selling like hot cakes. Will they be used? I think so although my usage will be similar to Jon's. I made enough on Lor/G* just today to buy a phone or two. I also will accept some pm's with ph #'s and share the load with Jon and Michael. I plan to put the phone through its paces. Maurice, you called it right. Lot's of folks showing up. It must be time to make a Qcom type move. I'm ready. I sure wish we could get some real info out of China and Italy re: phone sales. The rumors are they are sold out but I don't place much credibility on rumors. I have to make a comment re: "who will use it?" I'll quote what Dan (mrkting head for AirT) said, "you won't believe who is going to use the phone. I am not worried about the number of subsribers. I care about the usage. We will make our numbers." I think the usage will be higher than many expect. Well, enough ranting. Back to the VT/FSU game. Looking forward to getting my hands on a phone!
