INCOMING!! Just kidding, Bob -- couple of comments, though.

If Ken "feels comfortable" here, he is one sick puppy. One can only wonder how welcome he feels other places.

I don't remember Ken being called "stupid" here. He can be awfully annoying.

I think Ken's "dream job" would be giving lectures about the dangers of smoking in the lung cancer section of a large hospital.

This baby's going up, Bob. I hope you own some. Good luck, whatever you're up to.

Mike

<< That said, he has had some good calls about other companies. I just have difficulty understanding their significance on this board, except it apparently is a forum where he feels comfortable. >>

The reason I don't post on message boards is that it is a waste of time. When I post on the Iomega board, it's for fun. entertainment value. This was my first 'biggie'. I'm emotionally attached. Plus, I make it a point to invest in companies that do not have huge message board followings.

Time is much better spent visiting the company, talking to it's customers and sales outlets, and gaining a full understanding of the industry and it's trends.

I could fill 100's of posts on message boards about what I know about the companies I invest in, but why waste the time? Why do someone else's research for them? Preaching to the choir is not as fun as shaking things up here.
