Elepet, I think you are looking in the right place with these. . . but if you don't have a strong core portfolio of such blue chips. . .and you are only putting 4k into them. . . . I would think you would do yourself a favor by finding a mutual fund that holds the large caps you like best and just go with that.

I like Fidelity Funds. . . they have low entry points. . .generally 2.5k and you can add really small amounts as you wish. . .they have the best managers and a great reputation. Your DD may be best spent finding a fund with a good selection of these blue chip / large caps . . .this way your money is diversified. . . which is very very important to making steady gains over time.
