Now that would be very nice since my AMD position is twice my APPL one! APPL was a very nice first stock to own.

At this point, I am optimistic on both but feel short-term that AMD has more potential for a positive surprise. This market seems to heavily discount companies which are not #1 in their industry leading to some nice value plays. Longer-term, I hope there is some steady progress in AMD with respect to broadening their OEM and supplier (VIA) support as well as the range of their product. Having only a low-end product didn't work out too well when Intel was willing/able to counter with the Celeron while maintaining its overall profit margin from the high-end.
