The only piece of good news is that I beat the NASDAQ. Was down "only" 4.2% vs 5.5% for the NAS. What a hammer late in the day.

I checked DKEY and it appears to have some interesting parts of the company growing fast. In the security/encryption business. The next quarterly will be interesting. Maybe Norman can check it out.

Also checked AVXT and it does look on the threshold of greatness. Not sure if their vaccine has any real potential (would have had a major partner by now). So maybe a PPP&D. But worthy of a smallish position IMHO.

Both being Steve Smith TA picks who has great TA picks but I still like to make sure that TA is backed up by fundies.

Wednesday: 100 point drop to start but close up 25-50.

That's the beauty of small positions. I still slept OK last night because Tuesday's beating just took away Monday's gains.

But it's time to step aside from marginal plays and raise some cash. I am working on my sell list now. And USPIX should be in my account by the open after my order yesterday.

Nothing goes straight up forever. The markets have been very, very generous since October. You won't hear me whining about not making another 20% this month. I almost doubled my account from mid-October to January 3.

There is another well-known SI "personality" whose thread I skim from time to time. He has designated himself the equivalent of Fox Mulder while his merry band uncovers the dirty secrets of Wall Street's X-Files. The truth is out there.

I would rather just raise some cash than live out a FoxTV-induced fantasy.
