PB - Re: "Intel Getting Inside Consumer Appliances"

This truly is a neat development - although the future success is by no means guaranteed.

My first question is - do these use x86 CPUs or are they going to be based on Intel's StrongARM CPUs ?

I like Intel's "Ram It Up The Middle" approach to these low end machines - staking out the low end/mass market segment - and hopefully pre-empting the sludge companies that inevitably come slinking along once Intel figures out how to make a buck in a new market (do AMD and NSM come to mind ?).
