RMJ,

I was told by a Quotes Plus user that nearly anything you can do in WOW can be done with Quotes Plus. Don't know about this for certain, as I do have the program ordered, but haven't received it yet.

RMJ,

I went with Metastock back in October (or so). It has been a very good alternative to WOW. Unfortunately, both of these programs have some terrific features that the other doesn't offer. I would have loved to be able to use them both.

I really don't think there is another program out there that compares to MSWIN (for the money). BTW, they will knock off $50 if you tell them you are switching from WOW.

MSWIN has always been levels above WOW in all areas except one - the inability to conduct system tests on muti-stocks at same time. They say the 7.0 version will provide that, so MSWIN remains the best under $500 TA charting package in the business.

There are charting programs then there are data programs, some data programs have a basic charting capabilitity. Of the data programs, I suggest Quotes Plus for its scanning and overall power. The only other package that comes close in my opinion for clean, full data is TC2000.

WOW with its muti-stock system test made it a good product. Its only other strength lay in its ability to directly read many data sources. Now that it has become bogged down with the sweetheart deal on data. It has lost any appeal. If MSWIN keeps restricting data sources to sweetheart deals it might face the same fate.

I have yet to find a Omega product with ease of use or consistant reliability that I would recommend.

BTW: The next version of Quotes Plus is in beta and has even more great features that make it a stand-out.
