I'd be surprised if another split were announced now. Earnings right around the corner, and the annual meeting in March. I'd suspect that the split announcement will come in late Feb. Lots of good news on the horizon, and these blips in share price don't need any immediate retaliation. My thoughts only; no guarantees.

From tuesday Split-Trader QCOM - Qualcomm $162.06 -17.25 (-14.06) Qualcomm owns the rights to CDMA technology that is used in wireless Internet devices. It is quickly becoming the "Windows" of the wireless device market. The stock is just coming off of a massive 4:1 split and some profit taking was in order. Now that some money has been taken off the table, and the stock has pulled back, we are looking to get in before earnings and possibly another split announcement due to be released on 1/19. So soon after their last split you say. Well, JDS Uniphase (JDSU) just split on 12/30 and then they announced another split on 1/3. If JDSU can do it, so can QCOM. Support is at around $140 with strong support at $125. Resistance is way up at $200. A bounce off of the 10-dma has been an excellent entry point in the past and we are hoping for a bounce off the 5-dma or the 10-dma, on good volume to open a new play. Only play in an upward market. Picked on Jan 4th @ 162.06 Change since picked +0.00
