Now for some really serious issues to ponder since everyone is so caught up in trying to decide whether this is a buying opportunity that they are speechless today.

Question #1: Do you think the women in the ad agency that does the Williams Communication commercials demanded equal time for women in appearing stupid (they have telepathy -- they can read our customers minds) and did the African American members of the firm (if there are any) out maneuver the women by saying "you can have the stupid role and we'll take the smart CEO role?"

Question #2: How young do you have to be to be impressed by a bank that runs a commercial where the punch line is, "can you draw up the merger documents on 2 hours sleep?" (CS First Boston -- there it is again) I feel really old. I was more concerned yesterday with the fact that my brother twice interrupted my nap in my new hammock chair which I put up the night before next to my Japanese water pond than I was with the market drop.

Cheers,
Bob

Bob - Look back on the 30 day chart and you will see clearly, MRV leaving a small point gap on the 13th of December.

Although a 2 7/8 point gap is not significant in the grand scheme of things, this gap is annoying on MRV's chart because it occured in unchartered territory. The lower we go these days the more liklihood that this slight gap gets filled. I am comfortable on any dip to 41/42.

The Gators gave it a go but fell a bit short, the Seminoles crushed the hokies, and well what can I say about my beloved Canes?

Respectfully,

Dana Adams
