The people who would realize such a long term problem would want to bail out slowly in advance. Maybe they've been from the NYSE? I just think that it won't happen the way it is expected to happen. The most well-informed institutions would want to pass the problem to the buy-the-drop folks.

I am disappointed with Standard & Poor's. I believe they are no different from any other analyst. I'll bet over the next year their earnings estimates drop gradually lower, but only after everyone else already knows there's a problem -- DEFLATION of Corporate Profits.
