I presume you will see my explanation in an earlier post for the "parking lot". Let me observe that when it is not rush hour, or when one is heading "against traffic", things can move swiftly. For example, I can get to Reagan National in mid- afternoon, through a particular route, in about 45 minutes, from my door to the parking garage. I live near the Bay Bridge, and the airport is in Alexandria, Virginia, across from the Federal District on the Potomac. My wife's office in non- peek periods is less than an hour, to the center of Northwest Washington (Dupont Circle area), but in rush hour, it is about 90 minutes........
