I can't believe the bargains in some of the quality stocks today. Crap is flying and the good stocks are down ... Yippee!

Lola:)

But Tom--everything is going down. Every single thing in my portfolio (I am not saying this in panic but I am perplexed). EMC, MSFT, QCOM, JDSU, ICGE, etc etc etc. Not one thing has been spared. It can't be that they don't want these stocks--

I do believe it is absolutely planned manipulation, right on cue in the New Year, but I'm trying to understand the logic. My (perhaps naive) thots are as follows

1_ They want to pick up shares cheap. But who is selling--or did they engender panic and individuals are selling? Or are they selling in stages and then picking them up cheaper?

2) They short and buy puts as well, and it's time to make some $ that way

3) I don't have a 3

Thanx Volty
