...is it buy the rumor sell the news?

My guess, it's sell off gradually news or no news with bursts of pep-rallies every so often.

...Liquidity still out there.

The addition of Liquidity to an illiquid market will boost the market. The addition of Liquidity or the maintaining of liquidity to a saturated market can only do so much.

Hey guys Stocks do not go down because they are all overvalued they go down because the are overvalued and fundimentals no longer justify them. As long as Tech earnings keep booming, which will be at least the next two quarters do not count on any crashes or bear markets. Stop fighting the tape. The Earnings picture for Qcom specificaly is intense and as long as it and JDSU can grow earnings 50-100% people will pay a huge premium. We just had a year inwhich NAZ was up 90% the last time in 1995 that happened 1996-1999 turned oout to be great years. Furthermore we have these early sales every year now. These two down days havnt even nicked at my returns in my portfolio. I would guess that july-Oct will be when the outlook going forward cools off.
