If practical that sounds even better; the less places one has to check the better. That green/red light for example. I don't look at it much but when it flashes red it usually catches my attention.

I suppose that would be the most proactive method and who knows, it may even be the easiest.

The only external disaster then would be if the entire magilla went down. In that case a back-up may be necessary.
