Again, this is not a final answer, just a suggestion we will look into. Long-term it is not a solution, and we may be able to get an update page off our website in the time it takes to set up a new Onelist group, thereby making the Onelist group unnecessary.

I moderate about 10 private onelists, and belong to about 10 more. The enrollment and removal process is very quick and simple when understood. Barring a rare problem, no more than you see at SI, the email is instanteous return to me and offers near RT e-mail communication in a proven enivironment.

The two-way qcharts onelist that is often referred to here was started by a private individual for his friends, he invited and obtained qcharts tech presence. It was later expanded by word of mouth and Quote.com listing it on their site to a more public environment. There are 445 members that have choosen to recieve the e-mails. Others might have found the list not to their likings, so be it, in a free net. Others found it more productive than this SI topic.

A onelist can be set up in a few minutes time. It is a very powerful, free net tool. The announce only list would consist of only moderator (qoute.com) posts. Onelist is fully html powered so illustrations and attachments enhance any communication.
