are they? My impression last cc was that platinum was going better than most expected.... Please correct that if I was in error. J

There is something of a price war going on, at least enough to "stall" customers. However, CA is better equipped to wage it with less pressure on profitability. The company has been making great strides in e-commerce, which now accounts for about a third of the deals. Also CA is getting the benefit of renewals from the old Legent customers--much better pricing! I suspect that the Platinum integration is going more smoothly and should add to the fiscal fourth quarter.
