I would imagine given the 5000+ customers and the changes in email addresses that occur, with many having multi-addresses for different locations. The best managed way to obtain a valid updated list is to put it in the hands of the person wanting the information, the customer.

To have reached the level of grandmaster I am sure you could sign up with no problem. I simply send out a html e-mail with a form that ask you to put in your e-mail address and press enter. you are signed up. I am sure Quote.com could do the same thing. I think anyone that has used a computer for more than one month could remove themselves from list since they are given detailed steps on how to do that when they sign up.

But you might be right, it might be too much for you. Since I don't have any problems with qcharts, I don't need it for myself. So, y'all just keep complaining till you get what I have.

>Why should I have to go through the rigamarole of signing on to a third party service in order to get a simple email bulletin from Quote.com? - IG

Sounds like a reasonable question to me.

I signed up with onelist and after 3 days of receiving as many as 6 copies of the same email - this on top of the continual stream of emails that normally come out - and numerous copies of the same post I attempted to quit. After several emails, etc., took almost a month as I recall before they finally stopped.

As those the use CyberX or trader know, Cyber can post right into your program anything they like and do posts problems when they come up.

A "popup" message that will come up right over your screen on QC would seem to be a good way to get info out quickly - assuming they WANT to get info on problems out quickly!

You read it and one click and it is gone - no space taken up on your screen for a "full time" window to post such info as Cyber has.
