You're right Claude but like I read the other day "will it correct at Nasdaq 4000 or 6000?". I'd suggest that as one gets more nervous they do the following:
1) Back out a bit and go to more cash.
2) Buy cheap out of the money index puts on say the Nasdaq Techs as insurance.
3) Put the new cash into T-bills for a awhile.
4) Shift to stocks that are not overvalued. ( and at the risk of being flamed to death, I believe JDX fits in here in reasonable quantities)
5) Shift some to quality stocks. ( NYSE , perhaps utilities)
