I you will read article in Forbes yesterday it explains the ITU in September adopted 3g technology for wire less and the market started lookng around for companies that were positioned to take advantage. "It saw IDC"

Then he quotes Goldberg of IDC saying they are the master of that technology.

For your information QCOM is going to be forced to use IDC IPR to complete their 3g. Any conversion from 2g to 3g will require an intepretor or interface and IDC holds the patents.

Analysts do not understand this technology engineers do. Thats where you should seek advice.

I am not interested in todays price and holding through 30 point drops. I know IMHO next year will bring untold earnings and again IMHO will leave QCOM prices behind. This is not an internet fast buck new paradigm stock. It is of the old paradigm of fundamentals and earnings.

Ericy settlement, new CEO, new alliances, ASIC 3G sales, all could manifest overnight.
