IBM has not been big in rtail for a while now. The big thing in retail is Compaq/HP. And, having HP on board in Q4 will ensure a solid retail baseline - especially given the recent Compaq problems.

<Lack of a additional OEMS and/or business SKU's is critical right now>

One good thing is that I expect NEC to get more aggressive in retail with K6 and Athlon SKUs. However, I have a feeling that their focus will be mid-range and they may not deliver much high ASP business for AMD.
