I just finished listening to the conference call. Three brokers had questions; Paine Webber, A.G.Edwards and another company whose name I missed. Conference call was generally upbeat. Glenn is focusing on efficiency. Sub-coolers have been "deep-sixed" since IMG doesn't see enough market potential to warrant further expenditure. Glenn stated that HTS for utilities still a significant distance away from commercial viability. He said the technology needs to move away from silver based wire to thin-film in order to bring the cost down to a commercially viable level. He said work with Kryotech and IBM is on-going but did not elaborate on details. I got the impression that both Kryotech and IBM don't want much said about this. I am very impressed with Glenn Epstein. He's very honest and straightforward with answers. We're not going to get rich over-night but I think he is moving this company in the right direction and over the next 3 to 5 years it should be a solid investment.
