An interesting day. Volume continues to be higher than usual and the price did not budge at all. Even when NASDAQ was down 150 pts. the price stuck around 13. Makes me hopeful for the coming days. One thing that I still wait for is expanded coverage of LGND by the analysts/brokerages. This is now a company with a proven technology platform, that has 3 approved products, one of which has significant off-label potential, and experienced in the FDA process. On top of this, LGND has the endorsement of big pharma for its technology, and a big pipeline. A profitable 4th quarter is also possible if not probable. In the light of the above, shouldn't we see the initiation of coverage by new institutions these days ? Does anybody have experience with other biotechs ?
