The ability to continue using the assets for three more years. That simply, is the fundamental value of this deal. Convert infrastructure to cash, but still use it as you always did. If the company is not fully engaged as a service company within 3 years, then.......who knows. But right now, it's PERFECT for ICO. The basics of this deal just seem to make sense for Inacom.

As I understand it, ICO will still get GP/Margin for HW sales (all vendors) run through this "utility". Without the overhead expense. On paper, and with the general trend in the market (decreasing prices, direct relations), Inacom got out just in the nick of time.

Sure, IBM and HP will have concerns and ultimately will be (maybe already are) in a competitive situation with them. However, if ICO solution sales can convince clients of the value in continuing their existing HP and IBM relationships, against the advice of HP and IBM, then Inacom has a real bargain...could be a $30 stock again real soon!
