GTW's shortage was lack of higher-end Intel PIII's. Could Compaq have eaten Gateway's lunch with the onslaught of Compaq AMD Athlon systems?

El-- I know DELL could not supply the Sony RW drive for many weeks last qtr. My neighbor ordered one waited 2 months then it would not run,, the second one received is fine. MUEI had no such problems but we will all get a little kick tomorrow
