Re: MSGI

How does one find out the number of shares that are being shorted? I have been reading on several boards that MSGI's # of shares being shorted has been dramatically reduced over the last two months. This is in large part due to one of their acquisitions which should close in the next two weeks.

Without doing much prior research, basically the lower the share price on the closing date of the acquisition the better for the acquired company.

Anyway, (I didn't mean to go off on that tangent), my wife and I were trying to figure out how to determine the # of shares shorted and how to tell if there are more people willing to buy then sell. Do you need level II for this? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
