I see what you are driving at.

We used to use Fib retracement calculations quite a lot.

But there would be fib within fib if you follow that, for daytrading purposes. I don't type quickly so I don't do it anymore. But we had formulae set up so that retracements could be divined using derivatives of fib ratios inside of fib ratios.

So your External Fib lines are derived from that large drop, the bounce, then your internal derivatives would start. I think Fib is a very interesting issue but I also think there is more there. I wish I could type faster, it works within itself if you follow that logic. Good stuff to know for a scalp trader.

I have to look more closely at all these numbers once I get home later to see what you are looking at. That concept of the floor driving through a fib retrace number isn't my observation by the way, I was shown that by an ex-pit trader from Boca Raton. It does seem to pan out quite a lot. When I'm trading well I "see" things like that. Thanks for mentioning it, because it escaped me completely today.

Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa, Mea Maxima Culpa.

I know tomorrow may just be a slam.....but at 1401 on Globex I had to do it. I bought.

Forgive me Father for I have sinned.

For a little while, anyway. This Night-Trading is actually rather Kool. Next tea-party you are having in the Black Mountains for the QCharts crew let me know so I can send some spritzers.

EDIT

1399.

Well, perhaps I'll send club soda.

In retrospect, this Night-Trading isn't all it's cracked up to be.

This machine was locked as it went through Daily updates.

Try looking at a Long at 1401 then having the box tell you it's now 1396. I would not have given the market 5 points if I was using your money.

Pray for me, I know I have to get out of this but I don't know if the data feed will tell me where that is!
