SSS (Stupid Stock Story)...I have a position in Softbank which trades on the TSE...in Japan, they have something called trading limits, meaning the stock can only go so high or so low in any given trading session...for under 100K Yen, this number is 5K Yen, for over 100K, this limit moves to a whopping 50K Yen...well, Softbank hits an all time high at about 103K Yen (kicking in the 50K limit rule) and of course I'm already calculating what a 50K move to the upside would do to my holdings....same day US nets collapse!!...open my portfolio to find Softbank down some 16K Yen to 84K!!...and now the limit rules say gotta climb back up in 5K increments to get back over 100K again!...kinda like climbing Everest on a beautiful sunny day and after a long hard ascent only to slip on your final footsteps and to find yourself 3/4 of the way back down the mountain!...time to start climbing again!!
