To the thread:

I recently upgraded my QCharts to the latest version available via download (3.1 build 2) and am very sorry I did.

It now hangs my computer so bad, I have to use CTRL-ALT-DELETE to cancel it, then reboot in order to get it working again.

It doesn't seem to even start if I bring up Netscape first (hangs after password entry and before data is loaded). If I bring up Netscape later, it runs for a while before locking up - I think faster if I switch T/S screens).

I have Win '98 second edition, Netscape 4.7, and recently also loaded Office 2000 Pro.

I need a fix quick, and am NOT switching to IE.

Is this problem new to this build of QCharts? Is there a way I can fix this problem? Can I download an earlier version?

HELP!

ig, another Ping Plotter (FREE). I believe the NeoTrace Matt mentioned is FreeWare. $36.00 after 30 day trial.

nessoft.com

Here are the many Servers taken from the Continuum Client
list in QCharts. Perhaps load all of them in both ping plotters and see which you like best.

Think you would enter each like this, herndon-r04.quote.com, not, Server=209.143.250.15.

I understood Matt to say on the top line of the Continuum
Client, to change the =true, to =false if you wish to lock in a favorite. Cut/Paste the favorite on First line of
List, true Matt?. Once you do this then you no longer can Ctrl+Alt+N to change servers. You must change the =false back to =true in order to make the changes.

Hope this helps, /jw
