hdr,
I have to agree. I have followed this message board for two years and have learned a lot about OS investing, but recently the quality has declined dramatically. It is almost not worth the time trying to find posts about the OS sector instead of the egotistical BS.

hdr.jr,
Glad its not directed at me VBG. I emphatically agree that there is way too much personal vendetta and vindictiveness on this board lately.
That is often the case when a sector or stock takes a hit, folks get hit in the pocketbook and the civility also goes to low levels on the thread.

When the $$ rations get low the residents get short tempered!

I have at times used this as one of my sentiment indicators for when it is time to leave a sector but it can also be a bottom indicator. I hope this is a bottom indicator for OSX and not otherwise.

OTOH, I have experienced the unpleasantness firsthand years ago when learning this "trade", of being in a dying stock while the investors begin to cut each other up in frustration. Generally, I will respond in kind once and that is it. I have tangled with some real Hellions on other forums without any SI Bob, I have learned that it doesn't really matter whether someone idolizes my opinion or demonizes it. Neither adds dollars to my account. What matters is the free flow of information and opinions and in that respect I have learned to value the opinions of all, the Good the Bad and the Ugly, for they all make the market and aid the understanding of that market. Especially as things are often not what they seem...

Best wishes to all,

Roebear
