Brian, that is just a matter of opinion, yours carrying no more weight than my own. I found the first version of "The Living Bible" a bit lacking myself but, the "New Version of the Living Bible", published in 1992, with the improved methods of translation, and the benefit of the late findings in Egypt, and the "Dead Sea Scrolls" is a vast improvement and I prefer to read it. You are no more an expert than anyone else who has an opinion. You could benefit from a lesson in humility yourself.--haqi
