hehe.,. I was just being a buster.. sorry.. I know your long.. Its funny because I rarely take a long term position in a stock because I cant deal with my emotions.. One day im hot for the stock, the next day I fall into the trap of believing it 'sucks' and it will die.. so I sell.. and in the end the stock usually does what I spent so many hours speculating it would.. Now I position trade.. I love getting it all over in a few days.. but Im slowly learning that you need small positions scattered over long term plays.. COMS is perfect.. Microsoft is just a blip here.. 2001 it may become a bigger issue, but it will have no effect on the PALM ipo and like you thats exactly why I am here.. Its a steal below 50.. although I wont be buying more unless it drops to 36.. and like you, its such a small percentage of my portfolio.. Heres the real kicker- my one and only position is at 53 1/16 (go ahead, laugh!).. but My thinking before earnigns was, fine- if the numbers are great? ill make a quick hit.. if not? the downside is very limited.. I knew the core business was sluggish.. but PALM was firing on all cylinders just in time for the IPO.. Oh well.. anyhow it should be fun and lets enjoy the ride.. This is easy money, and I really dont see a safer place to plan on putting money.. Of course at 53 1/16 im way to early to the game, but at 35-40 its a no brainer.. than again- power lunch we could be hit with a surprise tomorrow.. never know :)?
