cathy,it's a long answer to why i don't do online trading----but to be brief my broker gives a 60% discount,plus they do all my book keeping and instant move of cash to their moneymart,plus i live on the DownEast coast of Maine,and we get our share of power outages---but with a broker thru an 800 number i always have a phone--plus my broker will be online soon,as AG Edwards are going to put their brokers individually on line---that is sort of the gist of it:) Regards YHOO,don't know how it came about,but the CNTR thread over the past several weeks has just blossomed--no reason this thread can't get more active. But SI is like that,prime case is VRTY,it went from 4 to 15 and the thread just plain died at that point--but YHOO livened up---VRTY eventually wenrt to 128 pre-split--but the SI thread was totally dead--- VRTY and CNTR have one major thing in common--they both had a bunch of burned "oldtimers" from when VRTY was at 57 years ago and Centura was itself much higher than now,and they had just become out of contact with the company,and sold the first chance they had---point here is the days of Gupta are gone,dead over.Scott B is doing a hell of a job---i am betting on this man. Will also,try to get some of the posts over here,but cut and pasting can be a drag): The YHOO CNTR longs,anticipating that momos and shorters will probably infest their thread pretty soon,have set up a club site and e-mail circuit,as YHOO thread gets insane at times if traders invade---best of luck,max
