I think Intel can make the quarter with a little creativity but choose not to place a bet at this time.
However it happened, GTW, didn't have the answer for the $1000 market with the ISP 400 dollar rebates. Like I said, all they had in the Gateway stores was a Celeron 400 unit for $999 next up was something for about $1600.
I do think wall street will wonder about Intels earnings because of this and weaken the stock tomorrow...
