ONE MORE TIME!

But Foundry, which trades on the Nasdaq as FDRY, is looking at the super
power of the Internet as its main and only rival. CEO and President Bobby
Johnson says the company is only focused on topping Cisco Systems, the
predominant supplier of Internet routers and switches. It intends to beat Cisco
in every place packets change direction on the Net, including Gigabit Ethernet
switches, routers, server load-balancers, transparent cache switches,
10/100/1000 Mbps connectivity and workgroup switches. If Foundry can
outperform and outsell Cisco, Johnson figures all other competition falls by the
wayside and things like stock prices will take care of themselves.

“We want to be viewed as the Porsche of the industry,” Johnson said, and
Foundry will be driving Gig Ether to the desktop as well as to the Internet
core. And Johnson is a driven man.

I like FDRY but I think it's crazy to stand up in front of a bull and claim that you're going to take it down. Going head to head with CSCO I don't think is a good long term strategy...but...well... it's played out well so far. Still long and enjoying the ride. I especially like the way this pup is behaving in an ugly market. Up to 295 in afterhours - looks like we've got a nice solid base here in the low 290's high 280's.
