Beyond Bell Canada ...

First of all let me acknowledge that the announcement of Bell's evaluation of Dr Bean is not a sale.

That being said, here are a few more things to ponder about this opportunity.

1. Bell Canada is part of the BCE family that also includes BCE Emergis, CGI Group, Nortel, Bell International, Teleglobe and others. Two of these offer particularly interesting additional sales potential for Dr Bean.

2. BCE Emergis is Canada's leading B2B company yet it does not have a CRM product offering at the moment. BCE Emergis is actively pursuing the American market, an American acquisition and a listing on Nasdaq. Home page at emergis.com

3. CGI Group is the premiere Canadian consulting/integration/outsourcer yet has no CRM solution offering at the moment though outsourced call centres are one of their advertised service offerings. CGI Group is actively pursuing the American market and an American acquistion - it also trades on the NYSE. Home page at cgi.ca

Let's not start counting the chickens at this early stage but the thought of BCE Emergis and CGI adopting and marketing Dr Bean as a strategic product offering to their customers adds considerably to the already large opportunity for Dr Bean.

P.S. - I would not automatically view Nortel as an opportunity as it recently bought Clarify, a CRM player. Not being familiar with Clarify, this is not to say that Dr Bean might not fill some other Nortel requirement.
