The advice deal is great news, but you know what? I know that a lot of folks would not agree, but the greedy me really wishes ETrade would post a profit this earnings. Narrower losses logically will do, but a few seasons ago they showed a profit by selling some NITE; then during the summer they cut back on the advertising and minimized losses; well why not post some profit this earnings and then go back to bloodletting next quarter? AMZN is a telling point: the market wants some earnings. (Of course, if AMZN keeps falling I'll probably buy some cuz they got lotsa customers and revenues and I'm a pretty smart guy!)

It would also be nice if ETrade did as well as Schwab, or better, in account acquisitions...
