No, but I've probably been in a laboratory at the same time he was stalking it. Visited Greg Winter's lab while he was there (MRC, Cambridge). From his Medline, he was in an RNA tumor virology lab at UCLA. I don't recognize the name of the senior author on his papers, so it must have been someone who came after me or someone who was new as I was finishing up. The department was, at one time, very strong in retroviruses, on the back of Marcel Baluda. Ron Evans and I shared an apartment. Ron was Baluda's grad student. Need any more background, just ask. Thought you needed guidance on how to do biotech DD? I gave you some. You busy?
