A$3.40 translates to 22 3/8 US...So I buy it there for 22.50 US and sell it short at 31.50 tomorrow for $9 profit? The stock prices goes down here tomorrow, because nothing is that easy, then Friday traders sell it in Australia and it trades lower again in the US on Friday. Why are you pumping the stock so feverishly on this board? Did it ever occur to you that a lot of inexperienced investors might get sucked into your hype here and pay about twice what they might a week from now?

NWL UP 73% to A$ 3.75 SURGE upon RESUMPTION of trading in Australia.

While the Australian Market tumbled, New-Tel shares traded sharply higher on very HEAVY VOLUME of some 15.8 Millions shares... The Exchanges had stopped trading pending the receipt of SATISFACTORY answers from New-Tel, as to why their shares rose so sharply...

I believe the USA "ADR's" will trade at a substantial PREMIUM, due to the heavier demand than in Australia and the relative scarcity of the supply, since it takes 10 NWL shares to make 1 NWLL "ADR"... So CURRENTLY, there are only some 9 MILLIONS "ADR's" IN TOTAL, representing the about 90 Millions Australian shares and the Float is likely to be MUCH SMALLER yet...

(Reuters) New Tel <NWL.AX> shares surge after trading halt

SYDNEY, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Shares in China Internet hopeful
New Tel Ltd <NWLL.O> surged on Thursday when trading resumed on
the Australian Stock Exchange.
New Tel shares resumed at A$4.00, up A$1.83 from Tuesday's
A$2.17 close, before easing back to about A$3.50. The ASX
placed a trading halt on the stock before the start of
Wednesday trade, following a surge in its share price on the
NASDAQ exchange.
In a detailed response to a series of questions from the
ASX, New Tel said it had no further price sensitive information
to announce to the market and believed it was in compliance
with listing rules.

NWLL should do WELL today, as it opened around the same level as it closed...

in Australia and is likely rise from there, due to the scarcity factor, as explained in the previous post... There are only some 9 Millions POTENTIAL "ADR's" in TOTAL, LESS RESTRICTED shares, LESS all the NWL trading in Australia... As a result, there may be no more than about 2 Millions ADR's trading in the USA... If I were Short, I'd cover by now, as there is NOT ENOUGH LIQUIDITY in the Market to be safe... I'd be ADDING to my position if it ever dips below $20.00...

Coach, the Short Selling bashers (SSB's) missed their Sub $10.00 Target...

by a long shot and gave me the opportunity to add below $20.00, as anticipated... I should have bought a lot more in the $8.00 to $8.50 range when I could but I didn't expect the TIGER to wake up so early... The potential was CLEARLY there to see but the "ADR" situation clouded my judgment...

We're dealing with only about 2 Millions "ADR's" on the USA Market, as the rest of the potential 9 Millions "ADR's" is either restricted or traded in Australia under the NWL symbol... This is too small a Float to allow Deep Shorting successfully and many Shorters recognized that early in the piece...

This now means that more heavy shorting is unlikely, since any additional shares issued WILL be RESTRICTED and the small Float is divided between two markets trading in different time frames, which clearly puts the Shorts at a huge Disadvantage... It would take a large price spike to bring back the type of organized shorting we've just witnessed...

Roachman,

Are you going to sell the stock you got paid by NWLL to hump hump this POS - before the close today? Or did you already sell?

42 minutes to sell left to sell today... Tick tick tick

The Auzzie crash is coming...

NWL in Australia closed at $18.66, ONLY 13% Down on the previous $21.12 US close...

so, we may well see the resumption of the uptrend tomorrow, if the Market, particularly the NASDAQ is in better mood...
