You yourself said that a "normal" intro of the Coppermine at 10% of Intel's wafer starts for half a quarter (the other half work in process) should have resulted in 2.5-3 million units, if yields were nominal, did you not?

Someone at the Intel CC had better ask exactly how many Floppers were shipped in Q4. If the answer is less than two million, will you agree that yields were poor?

One of the things they teach you in Industrial Organization 101 is that successful monopolies make sure they maintain excess capacity. It's a significant barrier to entry. Guess Intel was too stupid to figure that out--giving AMD a window with Athlon.
