That's very interesting information. We were talking about related topics on "Feelies," namely corporal punishment of children. Christine had posted some links to studies that showed that violent criminals have abusive upbringings. I think it's pretty clear that people like Mao and Hitler and Stalin are the same type of people that become violent criminals, just on a grander scale.

Dan, those are very interesting observations. The father is of primary importance in the development of a male child. If he is gone, or defective in his own life, the child feels like a rudderless ship on stormy waters. It is a moral crime that so many sons are being raised in single parent families by women that must scramble for a living. The child in a way, is abandoned. ~;=;o__haqi
