Yes, there will be multiple cell phone owners. But remember that a fairly large percentage of the population at any given time is the youngest, those not at the have my own cell phone age.

I haven't read the referenced articles, but I remember a presentation by a Nokia VP about a year ago in which he maintained just that: penetration will reach more than one per person. As backup he said in Finland that there was already a penetration level of 70%. I think he also mentioned that this was the highest level of penetration in the world.

If you ever go there, you can believe it. It seems almost everybody is using a cell phone, continuously.

Sweden must be right behind Finland in penetration. Incidentally these are the only two places I've been where restaurants routinely have signs asking you to limit your cell phone use since it is disruptive to other diners.
