Upselling? What is, and explain the mechanics of, upselling. Assuming this is a capacity issue: If there is demand for 500's, you actually suggest that Intel should sell <500's, and have the customers for the =>500 parts upset, instead of the customers for <500?

I don't get it. Who in the hell does business that way. AMD?

That's exactly what they were doing and on top that, when the chips were down, Intel looked out for Intel and put the screws to Gateway...among others.
