Glen2,S.M.,

A word of warning. The January Max-Pain Point&#153 values, historically, have not been found to track very well, if at all.

The reason, I suspect, for this is the huge amount of Open Interest that is created as LEAPS over the preceding year.

Currently, the sea of old OI is weighing down the Max-Pain Point&#153 values across the board.

Glen, check those numbers -- a 70 put would be worth $5 when MU is at 65.

I myself am abandoning the possibility of a "total collapse before expiration" as of yesterday's action. That slow walk down to 70 yesterday on chump-change volume (average trade size barely 700 shares per trade for nearly an hour) was strictly "pro forma". The only thing that bugs me about it that there was no "excitement" at 70 1/8 whatsoever. "They" didn't run any sell stops (maybe there simply aren't any?), and there was no flurry of buying either. I'm looking for 75 again.
